The Moorhead Police Department is currently recruiting students for its Police Explorers program, an exciting opportunity for young individuals interested in a future career in law enforcement.
The Law Enforcement Explorers program is open to students ages 16 to 20 who are considering a career in criminal justice. Participants will receive instruction on police-related topics and engage in hands-on training designed to help them explore whether a career in law enforcement is the right path for them.
One of the highlights of the program is the opportunity for up to six ride-a-longs per year with Moorhead police officers, offering real-world exposure to the daily responsibilities and challenges of law enforcement professionals.
An informational meeting for prospective Explorers and their families will be held on Tuesday, September 16, from 6 - 7 pm at the Law Enforcement Center (911 11 St N, Moorhead).
