The City of Moorhead, along with other local government partners in Cass and Clay Counties, are converting from the CodeRED emergency messaging system to a new system, Cass Clay Alerts. The CodeRED emergency alert system will be discontinued locally on September 1, 2020. All residents must register with Cass Clay Alerts to receive local emergency notifications. Subscriber information from CodeRED will not be transferred automatically to the new system.  

By signing up for Cass Clay Alert, you will receive time-sensitive message by text, email and/or phone with information about emergency situations, critical community alerts, severe weather and more.  You select where and how you are alerted.  This service is jointly provided by

Registering for Cass Clay Alerts

Please signup for Cass Clay Alerts through the CassClayAlerts.gov website.  This service is powered by Everbridge, and you will be directed to a signup form on the Everbridge website.

Residents that want assistance signing up may contact FirstLink by dialing 2-1-1 or 701.235.7335.

Removal from Cass Clay Alerts

To stop receiving Cass Clay Alerts, login to your profile on CassClayAlerts.gov and remove the contact information from your profile. If you wish to completely delete your profile, email CassClayAlerts@rrrdc.com.
