Moorhead Cruise Night
Location: MState West Parking Lot
Time: 5:00 – 8:30 pm
Moorhead Cruise Night is a monthly gathering of car enthusiasts at Minnesota State Community & Technical College (M STATE) with food, music, and an exciting family-friendly atmosphere.
Greater Moorhead Days Parade
Route: 20th St from 28th Ave S to 14th Ave S
Time: 6:00 pm
Join us for a vibrant community parade filled with floats, Moorhead Marching Band and more. The theme is Moorhead's 150th Birthday.
National Welcome Week Community Social
Location: MState North Plaza
Time: ~6:45 – 8:00 pm
The social will be on the main entrance plaza, on the north side of campus, near N2 entrance doors. Access the area via 24th Avenue using MState’s main entrance. There is parking adjacent to the sidewalk/plaza to the west and north.
Moorhead Airport 30th Anniversary Celebration
Location: Moorhead Airport – Florence Klingensmith Field – 3309 70th St S
Time: 8:00 am – 1:00 pm
Cost: Free
Celebrate 30 years at the Moorhead Airport with a fun-filled morning for all ages! Join us for:
- Pancake Breakfast (suggested $5.00 donation)
- Fargo Cars and Coffee Car Show
- Florence Klingensmith Mural Ribbon Cutting
- Skydive Fargo (weather permitting)
- EAA Young Eagle Flights (free rides for ages 8–17)

Roam the Red
Location: Gooseberry Park
Time: 8:30 am – 8:00 pm
Join Fargo Parks, Moorhead Parks and Discover Outdoors for a day of adventure and connection along the Red River. Activities include kayaking, biking, art, and more—accessible and free for all ages. Finish the day at Gooseberry Park with local food, drinks, and live music.
Kicks Band Concert
Location: Viking Ship Park
Time: 2:00 pm – 4:30 pm
Opener: Fargo Folkorico 2:15 pm – 2:45 pm
Main Act: FM Kicks Band 3:00 pm – 4:30 pm
The Kicks Band is dedicated to jazz arts education and performance, with a 17-member roster of professional musicians and educators.
Clydesdale Horse Event
Location: Moorhead American Legion
Time: 1:00 – 4:00 pm
See the majestic Clydesdales up close! Family fun includes horse viewing, kids' activities, and food vendors.
Medallion Hunt Begins!
The Medallion Hunt is on! Read the clues and get out there.
- All medallions are on public land – there’s no need to go on anyone’s private property.
- No medallion is buried – please don’t dig! If you’re standing in the right spot, you can see each medallion.
- Be respectful to others hunting for clues

Greater Moorhead Days Farmers Market
Location: Hjemkomst Center Parking Lot - West Side

Celebrate GMD at the weekly Farmers Market! Fresh produce, live music, family activities, and giveaways.
Midco Kids Fest
Location: Bluestem Ampitheater
Time: 4:30 - 7:00 pm
Celebrate creativity and community at this family-friendly event! Enjoy live music, Games to Go inflatables, a kite flying demonstration, and hands-on art activities with Painted Turtle and Draw Club. Meet animals from Rusty K Ranch and connect with the Moorhead Fire Department during their interactive safety engagement.
Presented by Midco. Free and open to the public — all ages welcome!
Used Book Sale
Location: Moorhead Public Library
Time: 5:00 pm – 8:00 pm
Support the library and score great deals on books, movies, and more. All proceeds benefit library programs.
Red River Run
Location: MB Johnson Park
Time: 9:30 am
The Red River Run has been running since 1974! This year we are excited to hit the trails along the river for our 51st anniversary run!
Race Information:

Time: 9am start time for both the 5k & 15k

Awards will be given at the finish line (no ceremony)

We will be raising funds for the FM Trail Builders. They are passionate about establishing and promoting the use of off-road recreational trails for biking, hiking, and just getting outdoors.
